Split a video into equal parts
Choose Equal parts, enter a count from 2 to 50 and generate the cuts. For example, a ten-minute video divided into five parts gives approximately two minutes per clip. Review the plan before starting; very short segments are constrained by minimum marker spacing.
Split video by duration
Choose Fixed duration and enter the maximum duration per part in seconds. A final clip can be shorter than the interval. When browser preview is unavailable, the fallback duration field uses server-side stream copying, so boundaries may follow nearby keyframes.
Splitting large video files
Keep the browser tab open during upload and processing. A long or high-resolution file can take longer to encode and download. Files above 500 MB are rejected by the interface; prepare a smaller source locally before uploading. Splitting creates several clips and does not guarantee a smaller combined file size.
